GEON has announced a leadership transition with the appointment of Dan Moore as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), while founder Ben Griffin steps into a dedicated Executive Director role to focus on driving the company’s partnerships and future pipeline opportunities.
Dan, who has successfully led GEON Living, the company’s Build-to-Rent (BTR) division, for the past two years, will now take the lead across the broader GEON business. His focus will centre on operational excellence, financial performance, and the delivery of GEON’s growth strategy across all areas of the company.
"Dan’s leadership at GEON Living has been instrumental in building our residential platform, and we’re pleased to see him step into the CEO role," said Ben Griffin, GEON’s founder and Executive Director. "His experience in operations and scaling growth will strengthen our portfolio and keep us delivering quality projects and property services for our partners and communities."
As CEO, Dan will oversee GEON’s integrated operations, leading the next phase of growth across its retail, commercial, industrial, asset management, property development, and residential portfolios. He will work closely with the leadership team to continue evolving GEON’s end-to-end property platform.
"I’m excited to lead GEON into its next chapter," said Dan Moore. "Building on the strong foundations Ben and the team have created, I look forward to working alongside our talented people to grow our portfolio and continue creating places that make a real difference to the communities we serve."
Since founding GEON in 2004, Ben has played an active role in expanding the business to over $300 million in developed properties and more than 100,000 square metres of leased space across Australia’s east coast.
"Since starting GEON, I’ve been focused on building a business that creates meaningful spaces and delivers real value for our clients and communities," Ben said. "Dan’s appointment allows me to focus more closely on our key partnerships, project delivery and the development of our commercial and Living Sectors management businesses, supporting Dan and the team as we take GEON into its next phase."
GEON is an integrated property group with a strong track record of delivering community-focused developments. With capabilities spanning property development, asset management and leasing, funds management, and residential management through the GEON Living platform, GEON operates across a diverse range of sectors including retail, commercial, industrial, multi-residential, health, and mixed-use developments.
Guided by a commitment to quality, social responsibility, and strong governance, GEON continues to create places that balance commercial outcomes with genuine community benefit.
