After an extensive redevelopment of the site in 2021, Riverway Plaza has re-emerged as a dynamic community hub. Featuring Woolworths as the key anchor tenant, and an array of renowned national brands including BWS, McDonald's, KFC, Subway, and Brumbys, the plaza also features a diverse array of specialty stores. Servicing the broader local community and positioned along Riverway Drive, it offers prime visibility to passing traffic, making it an ideal location for businesses.
Stage Two of the Riverway Plaza expansion received Development Approval in March 2023. The proposed extension will facilitate a second full-line supermarket comprising of 3,600 m² and an additional 599m² of specialty retail with shopping and retail provided on the ground level, and a basement carpark. It represents a logical extension of the existing Rasmussen district centre and reflects the surrounding pattern of development being a mix of commercial, retail and convenience uses.
